Learn more about Alexandra’s fee’s & policies, and how you can have your sessions reimbursed/Covered
Fees are according to the fee schedule of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), providing fair rates so counselling services can be accessible.
Individual session (60 mins) - $132 + GST
Couples session for pregnancy & fertility support (75 mins) - $165 + GST
Alexandra accepts exact cash payments, credit cards, e-transfers, and cheques made payable to Alexandra Stewart.
Alexandra requires 48 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Alexandra is committed to providing every client with exceptional care. When a client cancels without giving enough notice, it prevents another client from being seen. For this reason, the full fee of the session is charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.
If you are running late, please contact Alexandra. She will do her best to give you the full hour, however your session will be shortened if there are other clients after you.
There are particular circumstances where attending an in-person session can be challenging (i.e. live rurally, can’t leave child at home, immobility, extreme anxiety, etc.). Connect with Alexandra to see if phone sessions would be a good fit for you.
Extended Healthcare Plans
Many extended health benefit plans (e.g. Blue Cross, Sunlife, ManuLife, Great West Life, etc.) will reimburse you for the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Alexandra is certified as both an RCC and CCC. Check your plan's details to see if you're covered by a registered or clinical counsellor.
If your plan covers you for counselling or psychotherapy services, you will pay Alexandra for the cost of the session in full, and then submit your receipt to your extended health care provider for reimbursement.
